No clavicle nerve: There is no clavicle nerve and DMSO will be of no help in stimulating nerve regeneration. If it is a digital nerve it needs to be repaired and will take months to completely regenerate.

Alpha Lipoic Acid : Alpha lipoic acid helps with nerve healing and regeneration.  There is a large body of scientific literature about its benefits for diabetic neuropathy.  The r-lipoic form is the best.  You can find it online under the name ralapure.  Start by taking 2 capsules 3 times a day.  I have seen it help patients with nerve problems.  I have no financial connection to the company, just think it's good.

Never heard as such : Bovine collagen has been used for many years in conjunction with bone graft  to cover the grafted site, or as a bone substitute  in areas that bone fill is desired. I have never heard of any potential, nor capability for nerve  regeneration.  Please double check with your surgeon... You might be misunderstood. Othrwise this is a dangerous,   non-science based claim.

i have been doing physical therapy and had an epidural steroid injection done for a pinched nerve (l5). i am pain free but have developed twitching and tingling in legs and feet. can painless paresthesia and twitching be a sign of nerve regeneration?

: Maybe, and could be part of the nerve stabilization as a result of decreased nerve compression.  Best way to objectify what is occurring is via the administration of an EMG/ NCT.  This could be chosen electively if problems persist.  Have your doctor update the evaluation.
