Depending on your symptoms ,  Full lab work including evaluation for Lyme disease / VIT d deficiency/  b12 folic acid /thyroid studies/ Sjogrens Syndrome and Sarcoid evaluations. Also potentially a clotting work up. Follow up with your Internist and Neurology Consult

: Your MRI is nonspecific and non diagnostic, and could correlate with migraine, smoking, prior head injury, and perhaps "MS"(?).  The images do not confirm MS, but a followup MRI with changes may reveal what is occurring.  You need to discuss at length the next steps with your doctor.  Neurologist should be involved if not already.

It means: there are small areas of MRI signal changes in the white matter of your brain next to the ventricles and grey matter(cortex).  Usually this is an incidental, age-related finding.  Sometimes it can be a sign of other white matter diseases like MS.  The finding has to be correlated with your clinical picture to assess the significance, so talk to your doc about the results.

See below: It means you may have tiny lesions in white matter where nerve fibers extend away from nerve cells. The increased signals may indicate areas of injury due to ischemia (lack of oxygen) or other causes. They are too small and few in number to be significant. If you are worried, discuss your concerns with your Dr. You can change your diet, exercise regularly, manage stress and quit smoking if you do.
