Age: Believe it or not, even at your young age could mean changes that occur with hypertension. Of course if you have any neurological symptoms those should be explored further.

It usually is an: incidental age-related finding due to chronic microvascular changes, but not always. A few small foci are probably nothing to worry about. However, you need to talk to your doctor about what it means, if anything, in your particular clinical situation.
