i have/feel a slight pulsing sensation in the back of my head when i lie down at night. no other symptoms. just want to know whats causing this.

Low Risk: When lying down to go to sleep, your muscles relax.  Often when you're at the cusp of sleep you can feel your pulse in places that you usually would not otherwise.  If it is painless then I would not worry.  If it is associated with pain you need to be checked by your family physician.

Hard to say...: Especially if the lips look normal.  This is not a common complaint.  It could be due to overuse of some of the lip plumper type products out there nowadays.   If this is severe or really bothering you i would mention it to your primary doctor.

Need more info: Is this patch inside of your mouth? How long has it been present? How large is it.  Is it draining.

Sounds like: Unbalanced activity of the autonomic nervous system.  The controls of this nervous system are in the lower part of the brain and are highly sensitive to deficiency of vitamin b, particularly vitamin b1. Commonest cause is poor diet, particularly the sweet stuff.

randomly get a throbbing feeling in the left side of my head that lasts a few seconds with no pain or other symptoms. is this normal?

Not normal: But it doesn't necessarily mean that it's life-threatening.  It likely is from a muscle spasm of the temporalis muscle, the big muscle at either side of the head.  This can be related to stress or bruxism(grinding your teeth) or temporomandibular joint issues(the joint of your jaw). You should first try some relaxation techniques like meditation to see if it resolves but if it doesn't see your doc

Headache: Headaches could be signs of dehydration, stress, sinus issues, migraines, vision problems, blood pressure problems, blood related issues etc. Please drink plenty of fluids. Try over the counter analgesics, if persisting see your doctor.

is  permanent sharp throbbing pain in one side of the head, neck and back pain and scalp sensitive to touch and painful symptoms of occipital neuralgia?

Yes and No: It could be occipital neuralgia, however neck and back pain are not typical symptoms.  I would suggest having your neck evaluated as well since many of those nerves can travel to both the neck, back and head to cause the symptoms you describe.

was told my focal aware seizures are not seizures but panic attacks. ... dont think thats right. my symptoms are throbbing on one or both sides of my head going down my face with muscle tension along my neck and spinal cord. i get these once a week?

: You do not describe true seizures but other neurological events could be prompting your episodes.  If not prior see a neurologist

Migraine: Sounds like a migraine headache.  Have you had these before?  Any other symptoms, like weakness?  Have you tried any over the counter headache medicine or anti-inflammatories?  Sleep is often the best treatment for headaches.  If these are recurring or lasting for several hours to days, then you should see for doctor about it.

Could be.: Could also be many other things- dental  abcess, allergy, among others..... Best to see your doc.
