Pubis shearing: My impression was that pubis shearing or symphysis pubis dysfunction caused some type of pain.  It's been reported that some people may have clicking or popping sounds, but calling it a "dysfunction" implies there's a manifestation of symptoms that affect the person in some way. Maybe a do could weigh in because pubis shearing is an osteopathic term.

SIJ belt: The pelvic girdle has three joints & the symphysis pubis (sp) is smallest.  The sacroiliac joints (sij) are each 17 cm squared.  When sij is hypermobile from injury or joint hypermobility syndrome (jhs) the small sp is torqued & ligaments of joint are stretched & hurt. Weight loss: In the setting of prominence of the mons pubis, there is really nothing that you can do to reduce its size.  It is an area where most of what is under the skin are fat cells.  Weight loss and exercise will almost certainly help.

Mons pubis: The mons pubis is susceptible to sebaceous cysts, swelling due to lymph accumulation, swelling due to surgery such as liposuction, skin tumors, and fat accumulation.  With pregnancy swelling of the vulva and mons can occur.  See your doctor and get examined.

Just a pimple: This sounds like just a pimple, or maybe folliculitis (hair follicle infection), especially if it's an area that you shave. No STD causes this -- no worries there. Just leave it alone and let it heal, just as with pimples anywhere else on your body. Don't shave the area until it has cleared up. If other similar bumps show up, see your doctor for professional advice about a possible antibiotic.
