A member asked:

Is it true that someone can have pubis shearing for years and have no pain? is it possible they never knew they had it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pubis shearing: My impression was that pubis shearing or symphysis pubis dysfunction caused some type of pain. It's been reported that some people may have clicking or popping sounds, but calling it a "dysfunction" implies there's a manifestation of symptoms that affect the person in some way. Maybe a do could weigh in because pubis shearing is an osteopathic term.
