If no cause is found, then one can see a dermatologist, like one specializing in hair loss, psoriasis. Medical causes may include: hormonal problems (low thyroid), seborrhea, alopecia areata, stressful illness. Other causes: genetic male or female pattern baldness, telogen effluvium, etc.

Both work: It's your these medicines are effective. The reason medication stop working may depend on many factors. Sometimes the body develops resistance to a medication that is working fine. The resistance can occur  because of antibodies against the drug. It can also occur because the mechanism of the disease of the illness can change differently at the molecular level. You doctor can better answer this.

Psorriasis: Psorriasis is a very common and persistent skin disorder. It does tend to wax and wane over time, and tends to flare with stress. For most patients it can be kept under control with high-potency (not the otc kind) topical steroid creams or ointments. Your friend will need a prescription for this, so she should see a doctor. An urgent care center would be fine.

can i take bactrim if i have psoriasis and sjgrens syndrome?

Yes : unless you are allergic to sulfa you can take bactrim. Sulfa drugs have been used to treat conditions such as psoriasis and and the arthritis associated with  sjögren’s syndrome.
