I wouldn't: The basic fact is you double the risk of complicated side effects when you mix these drugs. Most studies show they do little more than give you something to do while their issue passes.

: You almost certainly have a virus and antibiotics do not help .  Discuss with your Dr there.  I tell my patients this make 14 days to get better but others will take only 2 weeks. Time will tell.

Ear infection: The doxy may have helped if you had a bacterial infection involving your chest, but it not a very good antibiotic for an ear infection if that is what you have.  You need to have a doctor look at your ear and decide if you need another antibiotic.

Yes rebound congesti: These types of meds can lead to rebound swelling that sometimes is worse than when it started leading to overuse and can affect blood pressure and the heart.

Accepted Answer

No: Just a mucus thinner and a cough suppressant.  In the future, you can just google the product and ascertain the ingredients on most drug products yourself.

2 decongestants: Oral and nasal., not recommended  try saline nasal spray to loosen congestion.
