: Your surgeon would be best to estimate your recovery capacity based on details of the surgery. Occupational therapy will be needed following surgery to ensure at least partial recovery.

Fair: Function will be impaired but pain should be better after. Need thorough discussion with surgeon about time to heal and realistic outcome. Fair question is also how many has he/she done? Not super common surgery even for hand specialist.

Perhaps : Perhaps if you ask your doctor to take additional xrays in different positions, deviation of the wrist and gripping views in pronation and supination.

how long is the pain suppossed to last after proximal row carpectamy? it been 2and a half months most of the wrist and hand are doing ok, but my wrist on the pinky side hurts bad and it seems like something isnt right.  my doctor says it normal but i don'

A : A prc or any reconstructive surgical procedure for the wrist may take time  before pain fully abates. There are many factors that can cause discomfort. Weakness of grip, as the tendons may time to  equilibrate and give full excursion, may be a cause of discomfort. Another may be residual weakness in the flexors or extensor of the wrist with gripping. As we grip our hands fall into a pattern of what is known as ulnar deviation ( turned a little bit towards the little finger side)
even in a normal wist you can feel the tension develop on the little finger side as you grip. Imagine you are holding a hammer and you will see what i mean. Other factors may be other areas of your wrist that are arthritic, irritation to nerves or tendons that will likely abate with time.
The time period for a wrist to return to full strength varies after prc. There are some who feel it may correlate with the time of immobilization post operatively
keep your doctor informed and ask why he or she feels it is normal. Talk to a hand therapist as well if you need help to strengthen.

Wrist pain: Yes you may have fractured you wrist during the fall, or have significant trauma to the soft tissues.  See you surgeon or another orthopedic specialist to diagnosis and help you with this problem.

Crohn's disease: Regional enteritis is another name for crohn's disease, named so because crohn's tends to cause skip lesions, affecting discontinuous portions of the bowel.  Crohn's can affect any portion of the bowel from end to end. Proximal enteritis affects the proximal, or higher portions of the bowel, including duodenum and/or jejunum.

Lots of fluid: Drinking lots of fluid can help to flush the stone out and relief the blockage and hydronephrosis.  However, it depends on the size of the ureterolithiasis.  If it is greater than 6mm, a procedure to break up the stone or remove the stone should be considered.

Bone lesion...: The proximal phalanx is the first bone of the fingers and toes (the bone closest to the hand or foot).  The cortex is the hard, outer portion of the bone.  A lesion is just that - a spot that can be seen on x-ray of mri.  Excatly what it is will need to be determined by a radiologist, or removed and diagnosed by a pathologist.
