Exam needed: If the lump is boney hard, it may be a benign exostosis which is a boney protrusion in the skull usually nonserious  requiring no treatment. If the lump is soft it may be an ingrown hair, inclusion cyst or lipoma. A physician would have to examine it to make a diagnosis and advise you.

See your dentist: Bone doen not normally protrude from your gingival tissue and is usually seen after an extraction. If so, see the dentist who extracted your teeth so that the bone can be smoothed down.

The pieces may also be shards of broken tooth... You still need to see a dentist.

From : From your description, it sounds like it could be an "exostosis", a bony outgrowth.

You should see an oral surgeon to determine if that is what it is. A differential diagnosis cannot be given over the internet, sight onseen.

Depends: After  wisdom teeth are removed some patients may have some bone that protrudes from the gums.  Whether or not it is a serious problem or not depends on the size and location of the exposed bone and how much discomfort it is causing. If the exposed bone is significantly large, your dentist or surgeon may have to perform a minor procedure to remove it. Your dentist or surgeon can advise you.

No, not normally: When your wisdom tooth is pulled, there should not be any part of your jaw bone sticking out.  Best to see the oral surgeon to confirm.
