I : I agree with you that it would be very early to have any type of spotting from pregnancy.  You may have had a little irritation or tear of your vaginal wall causing bleeding.  Be sure you don't have an infection, if you are having any unusual discharge such as green or yellow, or itching, then you will need to be seen and cultures taken.  If your next period is at all late then take a pregnancy test to put your mind at rest.  If it is negative but you still don't get your period, then see your doctor for a blood pregnancy test which is more accurate.

Accepted Answer

Unlikely: If you did the tests correctly and the results were negative at 11 days after missed period, you are unlikely to be pregnant. You may repeat the test in 3-4 days if you do not get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

i have protective sex every time but before doing it, it goes in for 10 secs or so without one. can i still get pregnant? condom is never broken.safe?

Accepted Answer

Not safe: Any act of penetration, even for a second, can cause a pregnancy.  And i typically advise my patients that there are no 'safe' days in a cycle.  If you aren't ready to become a parent, then it's best to use 2 methods of birth control. Condoms prevent pregnancy about 70% of the time, so over the course of a year, 30 couples using condoms will become pregnant.  Not great odds if you're not ready.

It happens sometimes: Many women have occasional variation of their mucus discharge, some spotting between periods, a heavier period, a lighter period, a longer or shorter period, or even a missed period.  Having one or two of these symptoms doesn’t necessarily mean there is a medical problem, but a visit to one’s primary care or Ob-Gyn doctor is a good idea if symptoms are persistent, recurring, or worrisome.

i am female and had unprotected sex w/ a male for 5-10 secs (then used protection) on a mon 11:30 pm. i tested thurs at 11:00am for chlamdyia and gono via a urine test, both were negative. is this enough time for detection, are the results accurate?

Probably not: It is possible that the negative urine test may not be accurate and it seems doubtful that if either chlamydial or gonorrheal microorganisms were introduced into your vagina "in 5-10 secs" , they would be detectable in your urine as quickly as you describe.  A sample obtained from your vagina or cervix may be more reliable.

i had condom protected sex a year back for 10-20 sec. at massage parlour, i was scared so after a 36 days i did a hiv test using cmia ag/ab technique at lal path lab which was non reactive. it just strike in my mind do i need test again or i am free?

: Probably but to be sure, would get a 4th generation HIV assay at least 90 days after exposure (ie., now).

Yearly exams: A yearly exam will help in maintaining healthy eyes. Your ophthalmologist determines the presription for good vision and tell you what needs to be done to keep eyes healthy. Generally good nutrition and protecting eyes against uv light and trauma are a start to healthy eyes.

Eating right: Eating right is a great start!  reporting any changes in our vision to our primary care physicians is another step in maintain healthy eyes.

: You get the most from this side when you provide detailed background information to support a clear question. Symptoms like what? Discharge/fever/ constipation/loss of appetite? It would be too soon to be pregnancy related, but timing might support a vaginal infection or STD.

: Risk avoidance is always the best but at least you used protection so the risk is low so you should not worry too much.
