Stability/Rigidity: High arches are generally less flexible, which translates into greater stability.  (the reverse is also true for flatfeet.)  this can translate into better athletic ability with greater push-off strength for running and jumping.  On the downside, shock absorption is poor due to the rigidity, so stress fractures are more common.  Ankle sprains are also much more common with high arches.

YES: Influence from the internal rotation at the hip, turns the leg.   Combined with a "club foot", it can result in the pigeon-toe (in-toe) of your foot.  If you are having discomfort, i recommend that you be evaluated and have a proper biomechanical/gait examination.  See a podiatrist.  If additional specialists are needed for referral, a good gait exam by the podiatrist can start the process.

Yes: Vans in general are not good for the feet because have absolutely no arch support.  Particularly in a person with high arches, Vans provide no support or stability.  I recommend an athletic shoe with arch support such as New Balance, Asics or Saucony.  You likely need additional arch support beyond a shoe and I recommend you see a podiatrist for further evaluation.

Not possible: There is no way to "correct" the structure of your foot (non surgically). If symptommatic, orthotics can be used to "adjust" the foot. If truly symptommatic, surgical options exist.

Get feet checked: There are no specific shoes to recommend but keep in mind, shoe manufacturers assume all folks have the same shaped foot and arch.  To customize the shoes to support your feet, accommodative padding and/or an orthotic might be warranted.  Go to the podiatrist and learn watch options you have.

High arches: If they aren't hurting you or causing problems then do nothing.  The surgery for this would be classified as gee whiz - type because it is very very involved .  Speak to your podiatrist and get a first hand description of what that entails.

Not really: But i did hear once ( not confirmed) that many elite tennis players have high arched feet. So you can try your luck at tennis.

High arch: People can have high arch feet and low arch feet. Both are ok if they do not have pain on walking. If you put weight on both feet, while standing, and your inside arches are way off the floor, you have high arches.

Cavus means highArch: The word cavus means high arched foot basically, although it is usually called pes cavus.So the answer is no.But having a high arch does not mean you will have problems! sometimes it can be an issue, but not always. I recommend getting shoes that provide good support for your foot. That probably means getting specialized evaluation from more than a shoe store assistant. See orthotic specialist.
