A better question is: Have you been diagnosed by cardiology with Brugada syndrome and do you have an implanted cardioverter/defibrillator? If you don't have an ICD, why not? What is the approach to management? These are questions for your cardiologist. The guidelines for treatment are straightforward and specific to the case. Informed consent: Nothing should be done before explaining pros and cons and obtaining your permission. Propofol is not the only choice, although it is probably best drug for it today. One can undergo colonoscopy without any anesthesia, the experience is likely to be quite  unpleasant and stressful and conditions for the doctor performing it suboptimal, so i would invite you to address all your concerns beforehand.

Tell UR MD UR fear: If you are very worried ask that you have a Cardiac Anesthesiologist present. They can handle this problem. easily. Otherwise dont worry too much.
