Not long.: A hematoma (collection of blood) that develops on the septum of the nose after trauma. If left untreated it can cause a loss of blood supply and destruction of the septum .Drainage to prevent permanent destruction of the septum is the treatment of choice. It take about 1-2 weeks to go away after the surgery.

. Examination of the nose using a nasal speculum establishes the diagnosis. A ct scan may be done to identify other associated injuries.

: Most likely an injury.  Try to recall any falls or auto or bike accidents and if you drank to excess before they appeared ask compaions if anything happened that you might not remember.

Mgt: Bruising can occur while you are taking Xarelto, but if the bruise does not heal or enlarges, I would advise letting your doctor know.

i have a bruise on my leg that just showed up without injury. is that normal? i'm on a medication that can cause blood clots. should i be concerned?

Bruise: spontaneous bruising is very common and is not usually related to blood clots. It should disappear but if you get more you should let your doctor have a look at them

i just noticed that i have a bursted blood vessel on the inside of my elboy but i didn't bruise it. i looked it up and i didn't get blood taken recently, i'm not on medication and i don't have allergies. do u might know what this is?

Accidental?: At your age, a small bruise may simply be accidental. However, if you begin to notice more unexplained bruises, you will need to see your dr to get a "blood coagulation profile" which may explain the bruises ( low platelet count, reduced or absent clotting factors, blood vessel wall issues etc). The so called "allergic purpura" refers to bruising due to allegic injury to small skin capillaries .

See dr asap: I would need more information, including which drugs he uses and how he takes them (ie, injects), to help narrow down possible diagnoses.  My biggest concern is that sores can be do to skin infections from injecting, and trouble urinating from kidney failure or an STD,  Take him for medical evaluation asap.  Take Care!
