Don't know of any --: Relationship between nonunions ; the
use of the ppi's.
Maybe someone else might know more about it.
Smoking is certainly implicated in development of nonunions ; improper ; insufficient immobilization of a fx or an osteotomy can go on to develop it.

does taking multivitamins pill supplement that include zinc, calcium and magnesium negate the effects of long term ppi use that leads to increase in chance of or the causing of osteoporosis and increased chance of bone fracture?

: No but it does deplete your funds that be spent can be used for healthier was. I recommend the DASH DIET which is high in Calcium, magnesium, tends to lower BP even in those with a normal bp, Lowers lipids, improves glucose and meets all the recommendations of the Cancer gurus to prevent many cancers. i think i may have a stress fracture on the top of my left foot i have been on gerd ppi meds for years i have it wrapped to keep swelling down is it necessary to see a doctor? i have tenderness upon touch & swelling, just noticed it today

Yes: Seeing a doctor and having tests as felt needed will be critical in order to assure a full recovery. Significant long term functional limitations may happen if  not diagnosed and treated properly.

Yes!: Having a fracture does not prevent future fractures, and can possibly make that area more susceptible to fracture if it did not heal properly during the initial break.

Pain, swelling: Typically the symptoms will be pain, swelling and limited use due to pain.
Usually the injury is secondary to a fall and 
will require a cast for 4-6 weeks to heal.

Monteggia?: A fracture of the ulna w/ associated radial head subluxation / dislocation (@ elbow) is known as a monteggia fx./ dislocation. If recognized treatment is orif of the ulna( plating) and reduction of the radial head dislocation.( it usually reduces spontaneously after fixing ulna)...

is it possible to re-injure healed spinal compression fractures. did not have pain until accident but doctor says fractures are chronic not recent.

Compression fxs: Yes you can ,but at your age would consider that you have injured other parts of the spine( facets, disc, ligaments,muscles )

Foot pain: "Sympathy" pain.    Unless you had recent trauma to that leg/foot  -  NOT related.    You may have sprained it after hobbling around from the recent opposite foot injury but otherwise did no harm.   Good luck.
