When does it occur? : This can be a simple muscle/tendon/cartilage situation, or it could be a dislocating clavicle or shoulder, depending on the location of the snap, and the presence or absence of lingering pain, decreased strenghth, or disfigurement.  A doctor's exam is indicated.

What do you mean: Why wpold you be concerned and worried at the age of 36 about the poppoing in your chest while sleeping.Why will you thik that.There is no reason if you are in otherwise good health.

Likely rib issue: Posssible you have a rib that is out of place or the cartilage between your sternum (breast bone) and ribs is irritated.  To make sure it is nothing else, easy enough to get a chest X-ray.  If no shortness of breath or cough o rather symptoms, likely nothing else going on.

No worries....: The "popping" sensation you feel in your chest may be from arthritis of the sternoclavicular joint (near the breast bone). Like any joint, there is movement and any trauma or wear-and-tear causes pitting or non-smooth surface area where things rub--causing the clicking or popping sensation in an arthritic joint--even in younger people.

is it possible the gas they put in you for gb removal to cause a popping in the chest near heart that happens when lean   forward its heard & felt?

The sensation: is most likely from residual air left after your procedure. If your symptoms continue speak with your Surgeon!

Have it checked: With your symptoms you should have it checked by your doctor.We need more history as to your age your smoking history , any associated symptoms , need physical exam and imaging like chest x-ray if indicated and than only we will know what is your problem and if it needs any treatment.

Possibly?: A bubbling sensation in left chest area could be related to GERD but it's not typical. This type of complaint is highly unlikely to be caused by any serious condition. I think if you reassure yourself and stop paying attention to it it will 
just go away.  It's natural to be concerned when you experience a new bodily sensation, but in this case you can relax.

Have it checked: I am not sure what you mean by popping feeling in chest. That might mean gas. At 17  there are a lot of symptoms you have not  experienced yet, such as "heart burn " also known as acid reflux . 2 days of nausea  should be checked out  by a doctor.

Reflux?: The "bubble popping" sensation in the chest is likely to be gastric reflux - when the sphincter at the lower end of the esophagus fails to close properly, and the contents of the stomach gush upwards through the open sphincter. Gas and liquid from the stomach can cause the sensation of bubbles popping. A special x-ray or even an ultrasound can often confirm this as the problem.
