in the last 2 days i have had two blood vessels pop in my wrist. i also think i might have tennis elbow (never diagnosed). can they be related?

No: Lateral epicondylitis is an overuse of forearm flexor muscles, and a resultant pulling at their insertion at the lateral elbow. Blood vessel pops may have a vascular cause, and is rare enough to have it looked at by your doctor to determine that this is not a more significant problem,,such as a blockage

Yes: A broken blood vessel is usually the result of trauma and it results in bleeding under the skin to foam a black and blue mark (ecchymosis).  The blood vessel seals itself and the black  and blue resolves over about ten days.  There is no contraindication to flying.

A swollen wrist: can  suggest a fracture or a sprain. One must be careful not just to leave it on fractured wrist just a sprain as there are sprains and ligament injuries that are significant and need  care. If a wrist is swollen after trauma A proper evaluation includes x-rays and Exam concurrently.  Seei an  orthopedic surgeon or hand surgeon

Injury: If the ruptured capillary or vein was caused by an injury, it is not advisable to stress the area at this time. However if the rupture was mild,spontaneous and not caused by injury,you should be able to perform your gymnastics providing there is no associated swelling. Of course if you're experiencing multiple spontaneous capillary or vein ruptures over your body,you will need evaluation by an MD.

Hematoma wrist: Was there an open cut/wound when first injured?  Is there pain?  Limited movement?  Red streaking of the skin of your forearm above where you were injured?  Numbness/tingling/weakness in the fingers on the injured side?   Do you take any blood thinner medicines?   Arthritis medicines? Recommend seeing your doctor for formal exam.

Doctor can evaluate: Such symptoms may be due to increased muscle size from weight training. The increased muscle size sometimes compresses the blood vessels (don't want that!). Nerves may get compressed too. A sports medicine doctor can evaluate. A vascular or thoracic surgeon can give an opinion too (who can treat problems like thoracic outlet syndrome). Meanwhile, one may consider stopping training that muscle.

Depends: Best is to see a doctor to evalute and treat.
There are no big arteries on top of hand. So the broken vessel is a vein. If the skin is not broken or cut, then you need to take antibiotic Cipro (ciprofloxacin) Floxin 500 mg twice daily for two weeks. 
If the skin is broken, clean the wound with water, apply Bacitracin ointment and clean dressing. Chang dressing every other day till the wound closes. Also take cipr.
