Stye: This is most likely a stye which can spread inflammation over the whole lid before it localizes.  Try using very warm washcloths for 4 minutes, 5 times per day.  If that fails then check with your ophthalmologist for a better diagnosis and treatment.

is it safe to pop a chalazion on the top of my eye lid?

Accepted Answer

No: Don't try to pop it.  Rather, you should use warm/hot compresses several times a day and it will drain on its own.

i have two black small dots on my white side of my left eye,it doesn't hurt nor i feel anything strange,i have no idea as to when and how it was there and also it's not visible until i lift my eye lid up.is this serious ?

Benign lesions: These spots usually are not a sign of any significant pathology. If you are still worried, see an ophthalmologist

Stress related: simple eye twitching can occur with fatigue tiredness and stress  Rarely patient may have hemifacial spasm (a focal dystonia) and require to see movement disorder specialist

Infection: This sounds as if you have an infection of a meibomian gland (hordeolum)  hot compresses may alleviate the infection, however, antibiotics may also be needed.

Red bump: You may have a stye on your eyelid. Apply hot compresses to the stye until it comes to a head and drains.

Eye doctor can check: If the eyelashes are turned inwards, it is called entropion or epiblepharon, in which the lashes rub against the eyeball.  In other parts of the world, trichiasis is a major cause of blindness and is another condition in which the eyelid turns inward and the eyelashes rub against the eye, causing corneal scarring.  An eye doctor can check to see what one's problem is.

it forms a pimple on the eye lid and does get to the point where it pops but does not seem to go away i've had this for about 2months on both top eye lids and recently on my bottom eye lid?

Lid problem: Sounds like you have a condition called blepharitis which can be accompanied by lid lesions called chalazia.These are areas on the lids which are raised like a pimple but have no area that looks you could pop. If this is the case local treatment to the lids is indicated. You should see an ophthalmologist for evaluation and treatment. You can try baby shampoo lid scrubs and warm compresses prior.

i have like a blister type thing on the top of my eye lid and one in te inner can i pop with a sterilized needle?

Not recommended: You need to have a health care provider examine the lesions to determine the diagnosis and the proper treatment, which may or may not involve an excisional procedure, or i;d etc.  Not to mention, any such procedure should be done by a trained professional to assure the best outcomes.  Good luck.

so my right eye lid twitched almost constantly for over a week now that has stopped by now my neck on the left side won't stop twitching.do what???

Leave it alone: There is no reason for alarm.  These things happen to everyone.  As long as you are otherwise healthy, and not concerned about medicine side effects, you will be alright.

If you are not that healthy or you use suspicious medicines, it may help to have lab tests or a medicine list review.
