Unlikely: Unless you have a very rare disease, it's unlikely that a 23 year old's symptoms come from poor circulation. It's important because the treatment for circulation deficiency and other causes of pain is entirely different. Chondromalacia patella or related conditions is much more likely. Not necessarily: Heaviness is not a common description for someone with poor circulation to the legs. More usually, one complains of pain with walking that leaves with rest, less hair on the toes, change in skin color loss of pulses. Heaviness could be vascular but could be from many causes. A good history and exam should help determine the cause.

Probably Not, But...: Although temperature does play a role in the outcome of an EMG/NCV study, most neurophysiologists check temperature during the test to identify this as a source of error.  To some extent, the answer to this question depends on the results of the test and the skill set of the person doing the test.  I would discuss it with the doctor who performed the test, if possible.  Stay healthy!

Unlikely: A 29 year old is unlikely to have "poor circulation" to the legs, or what we call peripheral arterial disease (pad). You're also unlikely to have vein disease that would cause these symptoms. Discuss with your primary care physician.

This comes from increased pressure in the veins that causes small amount s of blood to escape into the tissue.  Arterial problems usually have non healing sores not spots on their foot or toes and occasionally blue or red discoloration when they hand their foot down
