Not enough info: Polycystic ovarian syndrome is not diagnosed by ultrasound alone. Lab tests and symptoms such as irregular periods, abnormal hair growth weight gain are typical. Simply finding a polycystic ovary with no abnormal labs and symptoms is not an issue.

Cervical position: Your cervical position is monitored during labor and as a tool to predict labor during pregnancy. Other than those situations little clinically useful information can be determined by subtle changes in the cervix.  It is not a reliable indicator that people need to follow at home. The answer is the same for someone with PCOS.

PCOS: A single cyst on your ovary does not automatically mean that you have PCOS. Typically, women with PCOS present with multiple findings such as irregular periods, obesity, coarse facial hair, scalp hair loss, oily skin and multiple episodes of cysts. If you have some of these symptoms, you should see your GP for a full workup which will include lab tests.

No: It does not. There are many causes of both chest pain and shortness of breath. Heart disease is only one of them. At your age, heart disease is unlikely but not impossible so basic testing is indicated: an echo, chest x-ray, breathing tests,  kidney and thyroid blood tests.

We look at symptoms, blood tests & an ultrasound of the ovaries to make the diagnosis.
