Depends: It really depends on what was injured with the fingernail.  For example, if you scratched your cornea (the shell of your eye), usually, the abrasion will heal in 1-2 days.  However, if the injury is severe enough, it could lead to infections, eye pressure problems and even vision loss.  You should be evaluated by an eye md.

Corneal erosion: When the cornea is traumatized causing an abrasion, often the healing process results in an irregular surface that doesn’t adhere to the cornea as strongly as it should. While sleeping, the tear flow declines, the eyelid ‘sticks’ to the irregular cornea and when the eyes open , the weak tissue tears away from its base causing the symptoms. Put lubricating ointment in every night for one month.

: Does his eye look swollen, If so, apply some ice wrapped in a clean cloth, or plastic bag.  If problem worsens, seek medical attention.

: If no vision problem was apparent right after the poke, you should be safe from any vision problem from the incidnet.

Usually not: If you see flashing lights, many floaters, or a dark curtain, you may have a retinal detachment.  If the soreness increases and you are sensitive to light, you may have traumatic iritis. See your ophthalmologist (eye md) to assess the damage.  There may be damage to the anterior chamber drainage angle that leads to future glaucoma.  Your eye md will be able to tell you.

Watch and wait: If the soreness is decreasing you may watch and wait. If you notice any change in vision, or the pain worsens, see a doctor.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

got bitten by my pet rabbit on fingers and he licked all over my fingers. 10 mins later i rubbed my eyes with that finger got shot 2 hours am i safe?

What shot did u get?: domestic animals are relatively safe, and my bunny bites and scratches me all the time. just wash you eye out with saline, if any discharge appears see doctor

Probably nothing: Unless you had a caustic or irritant dust on your finger, probably nothing will lhappen, however, try not to do this.  Wash your hands and be careful before touching your eyes.  You can contaminate your eyes easily.  Be careful!
