See your doc: Large thyroid nodules should be biopsied to rule out possibility of cancer. See your doc to get this done. If you already have compressive symptoms, surgery is an option for you as well. Good luck.

what can i do if my thyroid nodule in my neck biospy came back bengin is there anything to worry about?

Needle or Surgical?: Was the biopsy a needle biopsy or an excisional surgical biopsy? If surgical, then the nodule was removed and it is benign and you probably have little to worry about. If a needle biospy then you need to know if there was adequate tissue for diagnosis. If not, then you can't be sure there is nothing there. Sometimes a repeat biopsy is suggested or a followup sonogram of the nodule.

Could be: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor. Wish you good health!

Variable: If the nodule is "small" and hasn't grown in five years, it is probably benign and not a problem. Keep watching it, and check an ultrasound as you probably will form further nodules in the future.

can small thyroid nodules make you feel like someone's squeezing your neck?

Generally not: Look for other causes.  One uncommon cause is vocal cord dysfunction, which can feel just like an asthma attack, but is not relieved with inhalers.  Esophageal spasm is another cause.  Getting stuck on a preconceived diagnosis prevents the proper one from being made.  See your doc, and describe your symptoms in detail to him, in order for the proper diagnosis to be made.

have 6 monitored thyroid nodules. last 2 days felt uncomfortable, bit pain front left neck.  when touched, feels bit lumpy. gland or thyroid problem?

No one can tell: It's often hard to make that distinction when the patient is present before the doctor. It's impossible to do that by description alone.

Ultrasound: A thyroid Ultrasound would be the next step to determine the size and characteristics of the possible nodule. Then take it from there.

is laser physiotherapy on back of neck safe when you have thyroid nodules?

No research: On this as far as i can tell. However, i would assume it would be safe to have posterior cervical treatment with thyroid nodules. Whatever energy is deposited in the back of the neck with this treatment would not extend to the region of the thyroid.

i have thyroid nodules that have grown in number and size and now i am having neck pain. the nodules are less than 1 cm. i am very irritable also. ?

See your endo doctor: Multiple small nodules can be seen in patients with hashimoto's thyroiditis also.  This condition predisposes patients to hypothyroidism, but sometimes also transient hyperthryoidism.  You should have your thyroid function tests checked and thyroid antibodies checked as well. Neck pain isn't usually a symptom, however. Other things may need to be checked as your sx may not be thyroid related.

can my neck lymph node infection have anything to do with my thyroid nodule?

Thyroid nodule: Lymph nodes in the neck frequently swell and then regress during minor viral illnesses.  So this may have nothing to do with a thyroid nodule. However, that thyroid nodule should be worked up.  Ideally with an ultrasound-directed biopsy and you should be seen by an endocrinologist. A thyroid cancer can spread to lymph nodes, although the more likely explanation is a virus.
