i received treatment, cryotherapy, to my plantar warts. one of my three warts became a blister and it's really painful! can i soak my feet in epsom salt to alleviate the pain and reduce the swelling?

Yes: blistering can be a very normal effect of the cryotherapy. acctually it means a more favorable out come. unfortunatly it also means pain with walking. if you have normal circulation feel free to soak. look for signs of infection. redness incresed pain swelling and inform your doctorn immediately

Depends: If you see that it is still there, it may need re-treatment.Plantar warts are quite resistant to treatment and may require many more if you are using this OTC product.

Ohh, that's cold.: Certainly you can. Some people have had success by using it. Others...well, not so. Make sure you follow the package instructions, paying particular attention to the warnings and contraindications. If the treatment doesn't work, then you might want to have a specialist opine on other methods of handling warts.

See physician: Best to see your primary care physician, a podiatrist, or a dermatologist for help. You may need cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen freezing) to treat the open plantar wart. The blistering of the superficial skin layers kill the virus along with the skin.

Warts: If conservative care is exhausted , then surgical resection can be a good option.  I use a CO2 laser for this when needed as it is much more precise than conventional surgery with a  scalpel blade .

Generally,: A wart is frozen, it does not "come off", rather the freeze is used to try and kill the virus that is living in the tissue. So, it is not how long, rather how many applications. This varies. It varies on the coldness of the freeze, other variables would include how long the virus has been there etc. Some can be pretty stubborn. Your doc should have a rough estimate for you.

the skin i am treating for plantar warts with patches is peeling and a bit pink, should i wait before using more patches so it heals? or is it safe?

Silver duct tape: Plantar warts can be stubborn to treat, and often the surrounding skin becomes eroded and painful, with little effect on the actual wart. If the skin around the wart becomes irritated, take a week off the topical salicylic acid treatment, and use silver duct tape. Once the skin is healed, you may restart with the salicylic acid pads. You may need to have your warts treated at the doctors office.

i have a very stubborn plantar wart. i've taking otc wart removals several times but it won't go away. now a smaller 1 is growing. how 2 get rid of it?

See a podiatrist: There are many ways to deal with warts- however, a plantar wart is a special case where the lesion is constantly under pressure. The podiatrist can discuss these methods with you.

: Yes. Skin freezing for any conditions is harmless in regard to conception and pregnancy.

Varies with size: It needs to heal from edges so that 1-2 weeks is expected.
