Generally,: A wart is frozen, it does not "come off", rather the freeze is used to try and kill the virus that is living in the tissue. So, it is not how long, rather how many applications. This varies. It varies on the coldness of the freeze, other variables would include how long the virus has been there etc. Some can be pretty stubborn. Your doc should have a rough estimate for you.

Might not work.: Cryotherapy (freezing) a wart is not always the most effective treatment for larger warts, and a nickel-sized wart is pretty impressive. Ask your podiatrist what types of treatment they recommend: they might suggest something else. Freezing a wart that size will likely take multiple treatments, and may not get rid of it entirely.
