Acidic foods: Pineapple is a very acidic and rough food to eat. It is very common for this to bother your tongue after eating it. It happens to me. I doubt your response is an allergy. Lay off citrus for a few days and things should improve. Also avoid extremely hot, spicy or acidic foods while this is healing.

Enzymes & Acids: Some fruits, such as pineapples, have proteolytic enzymes that break down proteins.  Additionally, they have a higher citric acid & malic acid content - which can cause burning sensations, irritation, redness, & "itchiness".
If you absolutely love pineapples & kiwis, you can always pause between portions & rinse your mouth, which may lessen discomfort. Possible allergy if swelling if so avoid then.

No: All fruits have citric acid however not strong enough acid to cause a burn. Like spicy foods, citric acid may cause the tongue to tingle and feel like burning.

Probably not. : Pineapple juice is highly acidic and depending on what you had for dinner this could have caused irritation to your mouth. Give it another try on a different day without eating anything before if the same thing happens then you might be allergic.

Could be from pollen: Oral allergy syndrome involves these foods and cross reactivity with certain pollen allergies. Usually symptoms are limited to the mouth and though alarming, typically aren't serious. Tip off is that cooked forms are not an issue (banana bread, steamed veggies, etc).

Lip irritation: Pineapple has enzymes that can breakdown tissues and cause bleeding.  These are concentrated in the core. .There  are also many people who are allergic to pineapple.    Fortunately this will heal quickly.  In the meantime avoid spicy and acidic foods that can make it more sensitive.  Lip balm will help the corners of. Your mouth.

It sounds like: you put a number of things in your stomach that could have the potential to be irritating, possibly more so in combination!Often fajitas are spicy with onions and peppers, let alone the meat. Pineapple, lemon .. your stomach likely has secreted more acid resulting in the burning sensation you feel. Avoid acids: Avoid acidic food while you are healing. Avoid pineapple specifically.

i ate a few pieces of a fresh pineapple which left a bad taste in my mouth. it had a red spot inside which i'm guessing was mold. will i get sick?

It depends.....: If the  pineapple was rotten (sounds like it was), it's because the ripening process just went too far - possibly due to lack of refrigeration.  Depending on the type of bacteria present in the bad parts, you may just have the bad taste issue, or it could make you more sick.  Unless you develop symptoms of food poisoning (vomiting, diarrhea, etc), you should go about your business.
