The package says so: Pin-X (generic pyrantel) is used to treat pinworms. It works by paralyzing the worms. As with nearly all consumables, there is a "use by" date.While medicines do not become more dangerous after this date, the medicine may not be effective. Often  medicines WILL be effective for some time (several months to a year or two) after the date,but there is no way to tell. Best: don't use outdated medicine

EVAL: I would seek medical evaluation. Some objects pass easily through the digestive tract. The problem with a bobby pin is that it is elongated and narrow. Thus it could get caught up in  or puncture the GI tract.

Pins and Needles : I would definitely need more information to answer this. Are your sx occurring only after certain activities - such as straining on the toilet, heavy exercise, post eating? Or do they happen randomly and unpredictably? Are you dizzy or light headed also? Rapid heart rate? These and other questions will be important for you to consider and answer when you seen your doctor to discuss the problem.

Bobby pin swallow: Your experience is not unusual, but deserves immediate attention! swallowed foreign bodies may lodge in the intestines, especially if there are abnormalities like diverticula. You need  radiographs to confirm 1) it's location, and 2) that it is moving, or 3) that you have passed it. Otherwise, there is a possibility of intestinal perforation, a very disastrous, but avoidable outcome.

Doctor can examine: A person who gets numbness, tingling, or odd sensations in a part of her body when in certain positions, may be pressing on the nerve to that area. Pressing on blood vessels to that part of the body is also possible, but less likely. She can see her primary care doctor to explain the problem. The ER can help too, if her regular doctor is not available. Some leg pain issues are serious emergencies.

Neurologic: Hi. Lateralization suggests a neurologic rather than a toxic/metabolic etiology. I think seeing  neurologist for a thorough evaluation would be indicated. Good luck!
