EVAL: I would seek medical evaluation. Some objects pass easily through the digestive tract. The problem with a bobby pin is that it is elongated and narrow. Thus it could get caught up in or puncture the GI tract.

Bobby pin: Most people would not be able to pass a bobby pin. This would stay in your stomach will need to be removed.

Depends: The bobby pin can pierce your pharynx or esophagus. Make sure you get an x-ray to make sure it went down and ultimately eliminated in your stool.
