need info and direction on what to do with sores in mouth. i have two sores on my upper gum that looks like pimples but will not go away. they have been there for around three years. i am nervous, i have not seen a doctor or dentist in years.

Without a clinical exam and possibility x-rays your description is inadequate for even a guess. Recommend that, despite your embarrassment, that you see a dentist as soon as possible for an evaluation.

I would urge you to see a dermatologist, perhaps even a pediatric one despite your age, and discuss skin biopsy with them to see if condition can be identified once and for all. Only then can appropriate treatment be initiated.

Acne vs Impetigo: Hard to say without a photo for diagnostic purposes.  Women do get peri oral dermatitis, an acne which affects the mouth area. But your description of the crusting sounds a lot like impetigo, commonly caused by staph.  We could make a better determination with photos and deeper history during a prime visit!  Treatment is different 4 each condition!
