Canker sore: Canker sores develop on the inside of your mouth, including the inside (mucous membranes) of your lip. They do not occur on the outside skin of your lip. For external sores, pimples, and other lesions, etc, you should consult your pcp or dermatologist.

Could be: Herpetic clusters. Difficult to diagnose without a clinical exam. Canker sores can be present on the inner aspect of the lips. Hope this helps.
