Likely not a problem: Without seeing this it is not possible for me to be certain. However, this is most likely normal and nothing to worry about. If there are any breast lumps (yes, guys can rarely get breast cancer) or leakage from the nipple then you should be seen right away. If you are still concerned, having a dermatologist look at this can ease your worry.

Montgomery glands: The bumps may be Montgomery glands or tubercules.   These are sebaceous glands and sweat glands.  They keep the nipple and areola (surrounding part of the nipple) well lubricated.

i have three bumps near my nipple that look like pimples only when i'm aroused and they disappear when i'm not. what could be causing this?

Montgomery Glands: Some of the milk ducts do not make it to the nipple. They form the bumps seen around the nipple and in the areola. Sometimes they are only apparent when the muscle in the areola contracts, either when cold or aroused. Montgomery glands are perfectly normal and rarely cause any problems.

There are many: possible causes, such as a contact rash, virus, allergy, eczema. Without seeing it, it would be difficult to make a diagnosis. You should take him to see his pediatrician, so that the proper diagnosis can be made and the proper treatment be prescribed. ? abscess: It is possible an infection has set in from the piercing. See you doctor. You may need antibiotics and possibly removal of the nipple piercing.

Pustules: These pustules or pimples are infections. It is unwise to intentionally pop them. Itching of nipples may be reactions to clothing or bra's. Your rings may be predisposing you to recurrent nipple infections. I recommend consulting a physician for treatment of the active infections and instructions on how to prevent them after eradication of the current infections. Apply antibiotic ointment.
