Anti-inflammatory;no: Presumably you're referring to a corticosteroid shot rather than an anabolic steroid such as testosterone. Various forms of Prednisone (steroid) can be given as pill or shot, even as cream, all acting as anti-inflammatory to cut down on swelling. However, it doesn't "kill the cause" which is most likely due to either a virus or bacteria. If the latter, need antibiotics. If former, just time.

injection hematoma: It is possible a post injection hematoma. You need to see your primary care physician to check your coagulate status and platelet count. If everything is normal, just have warm pad treatment as needed.

Often: It takes a few days for that persistent scratchiness to go away as your throat heals, gargle with saline, that soothes the throat and can help until all is better...

Perhaps: An injection of steroids or a Medrol (methylprednisolone) dose pack may give you some symptomatic relief, but not a very good idea.  First, if the infection is bacterial it may make it much worse.  If viral it may delay resolution, and steroids are far from benign medications.  See a doctor and let them examine and treat you accordingly.

Hopefully soon.: In the context of acute pharyngitis, your vocal chords can become inflamed, and thereby thickened, and they can be coated by mucous dripping down the back of your throat.  These both contribute to a reduction in their ability to vibrate, and therefore a reduced ability to phonate.  Give it a few more days, and your voice should return.  If it doesn't, go visit your doctor again.

Yes: If still has fever, then should be reevaluated. May be a viral illness that antibiotic cannot treat. But get checked just in case.

Depends on location: Steroid injections in the hand and feet seem to be the most painful.  Injections in the knees and shoulders are painful, but to a much lesser degree.  Elbow injections are painful as well.

No!: Strep need antibiotics not steroids which will lower your bodies  ability to fight the infection

No: Can give a lighteneing of the skin or dimple but not stretch marks. Long term steroid use may increase risk of steroid shots.
