Yes: Benzodiazepans like Ativan (lorazepam) have an additicve potential.   And patient will become accustomed to medication and will reqeuire it on regular basis.

4-6 weeks is maximum amount of time recommended.

Not likely: This is a pretty small dose, but if you are running out before you are supposed to, you are either taking more than was prescribed, or a drug that was supposed to be used very occasionally is now being used more often. You need to talk to the prescriber about how you are taking them. Benzodiazepines are not the best drugs for longer-term anxiety, and your doctor can discuss alternatives.

Alprazolam: Most benzodiazepines, depending on the half life will be detected anywhere from hours to days.
Alprazolam, a short acting benzodiazepine will ususally be detected 1-4.5 days after the last dose was taken. Longer acting agents like diazepam may have a detection window of up to 6 days or greater, depending on the metabolites.

Odds are favorable : It depends on the sensitivity of the screening test.  It also depends on your overall health, condition of your liver and whether or not other drugs are competing for metabolism. In general, the shorter acting benzodiazepines are cleared from the body within a week. Barring any additional use of Xanax, (alprazolam) the chances are good that the screen will be negative. prolactin levels to rise? is it possible such a small dose

Very rarely, yes: The most common medicines to cause prolactin to rise, are antipsychotics through effects on dopamine.  If you're also taking one of those, it would  be the more likely cause.  Usually benzodiazepines depress prolactin through their effects on gaba, but xanax (alprazolam) is different.  By unclear mechanism, it can [very rarely] raise prolactin levels.  Dose and frequency for this to happen is unknown.

It should be ok: as long as you have not taken any since then and wait until the alcohol has worn off to take any more.

Xanax (alprazolam) Withdrawal--NO: This is not withdrawal, rather this is a return of your original anxiety, which may have worsened during the two week of inadequate treatment of your anxiety. You should stay off the benzos if possible, and ask your doctor to prescribe an ssri that will treat your underlying anxiety disorder. My colleagues will likely list other treatment options for anxiety. You need to be in psychotherapy, cbt.

Not advisable: First of all you just asked me if it's possible to drink xanax (alprazolam). That alone makes me think that you're already intoxicated. No one should have two beers or more plus a xanax (alprazolam). You're likely to drink yourself under the table with the combination. There are also other dangers associated with it such as the cessation of breathing. Please don't do it. And especially, do not drink and drive.

Benzodiazapines: I recommend that my patients who take benzodiazapines don't drink (at all).
