Alprazolam: Most benzodiazepines, depending on the half life will be detected anywhere from hours to days. Alprazolam, a short acting benzodiazepine will ususally be detected 1-4.5 days after the last dose was taken. Longer acting agents like diazepam may have a detection window of up to 6 days or greater, depending on the metabolites.
