Be examined: A hot feeling in your leg, if occurring with exercise could be because of decreased oxygen to the leg because of not enough oxygen delivered to and lactic acid removed from the leg. This happens when plaque starts to block the supplying artery. Another possibility is nerve pain from a back problem even though the back itself may not hurt. See MD for examination, diagnosis,and treatment if required

Could be anything: It could be a muscle pain, like strain, or a condition caused by spine disease like herniated disc. Of course a detailed history and physical is necessary and you should see your internist.

Radiculopathy?: That's a fancy term to describe leg sensations, such as warmth, pain or numbness, that originate from your lumbar spine.  This could be sciatica, or lumbar radiculopathy.  This could be due to a disc herniation or perhaps spinal stenosis.

Position is Key: The fact that you can reproduce these symptoms by replicating a movement or position links the diagnosis to a musculoskeletal origin.  You likely have changes in your cervical spine (neck area) that with the right movement can be made to impinge on a small area of your spinal chord....Which would explain your repeatable symtomology.  Ms would not be positional.

Warm sensation: I believe you have developed irritation of your Sural nerve, this nerve runs behind the knee cap and goes down and it's very superficial therefore it could become irritated so easily. If you change you posture and how you sit the nerve inflammation might go down, also manipulation by Chiropractors could help.

Sciatica ?: The symptoms sound like sciatica, a peripheral nerve disorder that is associated with degenerative disc disease from your lumbar spine. I suggest you have your spine evaluated by an orthopedic spine MD with X-ray and possibly MRI to see if the discs are in alignment or not. This is a serious first sign that if unchecked can lead to nerve entrapment, pain, and crippling paralysis
