Morning sickness: I am not aware of others, but some remedies can be vitamin b6 & antihistamines such as benadryl (diphenhydramine).

i'm on birth control but want to start a herbal detox. will emmenagogue herbs such as nettle and peppermint affect my birth control? thank you

Detox is a fraud: Herbal or any other detox is not going to do you any good, other than lighten your wallet. Depending on the herbs you take, it could interfere with your birth control. You do not need detox, no body does.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

Absolutely: Let's clarify - over-the-counter drugs (otcs) are virtually the same medications as prescription ones except that they've been granted the freedom to be sold without prescription due to their "benign" profile. Supplements are not medications in and of themselves. They are more or less "naturally" derived preparations that are used for the same purpose as meds. Some of them can be as effective too.

No: According to Dr. James Golden from the Betty Ford Center, Kratom is an opiate that can affect thyroid function. Based upon my own exhaustive review of the information on this substance, I cannot recommend it's use. Thank you for your question.

Thyroid interaction: Garcinia is safe to take with hypothyroidism. Thyroid blood levels should be checked after 6-8 weeks  to insure.

50 yo male hypothyroid and mild apnea and can't stay asleep, why?  wake up after 3 hrs. been on synthroid and tsh is now .3, free t4 is 1.5. on cpap also. no prob falling asleep so not a hygiene issue. tried every sleep med, melatonin and herb.

Peppermint for GI sx: Peppermint oil is often used as a supplement to reduce nausea or vomiting or to quell heartburn or indigestion. It has also been used for upper respiratory and skin conditions.

Peppermint: there are claims in the commercial literature that peppermint lowers cholesterol, I can't find any good scientific studies of the same. I wouldn't count on lowering my cholesterol with peppermint

IBD??: Im not sure what "IC" means. Now , if you have inflammatory bowel diseases, Crohn's or ulcerative colitis, there has been some reports that strong peppermint can alleviate or moderate some symptoms, but it's not a cure.
