Absolutely: Let's clarify - over-the-counter drugs (otcs) are virtually the same medications as prescription ones except that they've been granted the freedom to be sold without prescription due to their "benign" profile. Supplements are not medications in and of themselves. They are more or less "naturally" derived preparations that are used for the same purpose as meds. Some of them can be as effective too.
