Yes: It could be a ganglion, although meniscal cysts are relatively common, and the difference is probably not important. Speak to your orthopedist if you are in pain to explore your treatment options.

A variety of possi: It could be related to the cartilage , it could be nerve, it could be tendon, it could even be bone. It depends on the interpretation of the MRI and what was found and also on your clinical evaluation

Several options: If you aren't having any pain or symptoms, nothing needs to be done. MRI's after meniscus repair may not be completely accurate. If you are having pain, catching or locking, a repeat arthroscopic surgery can be done to either remove the tear or do a repeat repair.

Yes: A parameniscal cyst usually forms as a result of a meniscal tear...it is likely that the pain you have is coming more from the meniscal tear rather than the cyst itself.  If the pain persists the treatment may involve an arthroscopy and trimming of the meniscal tear.

2-excision of the cyst. I would prefer the excision because they send to pathology and see what is it.

Yes: Yes, you will likely need arthroscopic surgery.  The meniscus is torn and displaced.  It will likely cause problems if you don't take care of it.  Thankfully the surgery is fairly minor.

Ok: Avulsion describes an injury pattern when something has been "pulled off".  Displacement means that it has moved from its normal position.  An extrusion describes a certain type of displacement in which the inner part has displaced beyond the outer part.  Theses are terms that are easier to understand visually.  I would encourage you to go through your films with your doctor and for understanding.

Meniscus: If symptomatic then the answer would be yes. Not all meniscus tears especially partial ones require surgery. However please understand that the meniscus has very poor healing capacity on its own.

Maybe: A finding of a tear on MRI does not mean you need surgery. The  key to determining if you need surgery is reproducible pain that prevents you from performing the activities that you enjoy. Swelling is another factor that would indicate that surgery is necessary.
