No worries!: Radiologists sometimes use colorful semantics to describe your x-rays. Phleboliths are benign calcifications in your pelvic veins. Hypertrophy of the greater trochanter it is very common and some people form bone spurs more easily than others. It is nothing that would cause any functional or pathologic problems with your hip. There is nothing to worry about.

i am a young male in my twenties, i recently had a x-ray of my abdominals and it showed pelvic phleboliths. what can causes these? can these be related to my stomach and digestion issues?

: Phleboliths, which are lumps of calcium in veins, are related to some damage in veins but causes are nebulous. In some cases.they are genetic &amp; present from birth. Nongenetic cases also occur.  Chronic constipation with frequent straining and bearing down to pass stool has been mentioned as a possible cause.

: By Radiopaedia website those could be scrotoliths, also known as scrotal pearls, are benign incidental extratesticular macrocalcifications within the scrotum. They frequently occupy the potential space of the tunica vaginalis or sinus of the epididymis.&nbsp;They are usually of no clinical significance. US of the scrotum will confirm the diagnosis.

i recently had a ct that showed an under distended bladder and pelvic phleboliths. i am 4 years out from papillary thyroid ca. should i be concerned?

Probably not: By a distended bladder I take it they are referring to the urinary bladder. Phleboliths are literally vein stones, and represent calcification within venous structures. They are particularly common in the pelvis. These are benign incidental findings on x-rays and CT scans.

i have had my tubes tied for 5 years. done during c section. recent xray showed free fluid in cul de sac, and pelvic phleboliths. did not mention tubal ligation. is there a possibility they grew back together? i have lost 70 pounds. was 22 at tubal?

: Depends on why the USD was done. The free fluid and the phleboliths can be seen occasionally and not of consequence. 
Sometimes it is difficult to visualize anatomical parts because of adhesions. The weight loss might have also contributed to it.
The failure rate of tubal ligation is .5% and you have not gotten pregnant for 5 years.

contrast enhanced ct showed 'reactive appearing mediastinal lymph nodes.' what does this mean? i had pelvic phleboliths too. normal blood work. blood in urine.

Lymph nodes: they may be in reaction to something that your body has been exposed to however I think you should ask the physician who ordered the scan to explain this to you
