i have fallen from bed 1month ago.a movable pea sized lump is below the knee cap.i can walk but when i fold the leg and touch it that lump can be felt.and another thing when i pat on the knee it's hurt.what could it be?

: First, why did you fall from bed.  Was it nocturnal seizure, sleep disorder (REM, PLMS, myoclonus)?  Regarding knee, uncover if small patellar fracture or cartilage problem.  Consults with neurology and orthopedics in order.  Do not drive, do activities at heights, use power equipment until all of this is clarified.

on my right knee at the bottom of knee cap running along the outside of my knee are a series of bruises, ranging in size from pea to dime what happend?

Purpura: Assuming you didn't have an injury that would have caused this unusual pattern of bruising, you may have a condition known as Henoch Schonlein Purpura (HSP), an inflammation of the blood vessels.  We don't know what triggers HSP and don't have a specific treatment for it.  It usually goes away on its own without ill effects, but, to be safe, you should see a doctor.  Best wishes.

i noticed this about 4 or 5 years ago, but keep forgetting about it: there's a lump on the back of my head. it's under the skin and movable like a miniature knee cap. it's about the size of my thumbnail. it's not painful. should i be worried?

: It has not increased in size in 5 years, and it does not bother you in terms of pain and there is no other growth in the vicinity suggests something that is of little concern and benign. The only thing is the cosmetics that may warrant evaluation for removal.

Exam please: All lumps should be checked to make certain they are not cancer. The earlier cancer is diagnosed the better the chances are for a cure. I therefore suggest that you go to a medical clinic for an exam as soon as possible. And remember to always maintain a healthy diet, get adequate sleep at night, exercise daily or as often as possible and avoid smoking, illicit drugs and drinking too much alcohol.

Varicose Vein?: Based upon your description, the most likely cause for your symptoms is a varicose vein, which is an enlarged vein that can sometimes become thrombosed (have a blood clot in it) and can become inflamed and rarely infected.  I would discuss this with your primary physician for additional recommendations and care, but also to rule out a deep venous thrombosis.

Let me try to help: Is this lump new or old? Did you have injury to the knee? If you do most likely it is bursitis in front of the knee cap?
Normally that  bursa is flat and can not feel it but when it injured have some fluids in it. Go and check it out.
