PCOS: Polycystic ovary syndrome is the most common female endocrine disorder, affecting 5-10% of women.  It affects multiple organ systems and not just the ovaries.  Most women with pcos have enlarged ovaries with multiple cysts, hence the name.  There are several support groups with useful info on them:  pcosupport.Org, pcoschallenge.Com, and pcosfoundation.Org may be able to answer your questions.

Low calorie: Weight loss is critical for PCOS.  There are several approaches.  One would be a lower carbohydrate diet since you are already having issues with your insulin levels.  Elevated insulin levels associated with PCOS can impede weight loss.  You could also consider the Mediterranean Diet as this has been shown to help with metabolic disordered patients.

i am 28 years old (pcos/1st ivf). beta hcg 14dpo is 24.8. is it too low? also, my doctor has withdrawn progesterone support. will it affect pregnancy?

Strange: It is on the low side but what is important is how it rises. But removing Progesterone will end the pregnancy for all intensive purposes.

Uterus Checkup: The uterus is a real effect of PCOS. Check lining with ultrasound of pelvis
 and if polyp have gyn remove it.
    Low dose BCP may help and ezxperimental evidence of metformin recently show a positive effect of Metformin on the uterus to minimize its tendency to enlarge and bleed.

It means: Most likely u do not ovulate , but you can get pregnant with medication, like Clomid (clomiphene) pills or u may need injections but your chance for pregnancy is very good with medication given by a gyn or repro endocrinologist who knows what they are doing.

Exercise: Although healthy eating is important, for many women with pcos diet alone will not produce significant weight loss. Exercise is very important and may be more important that diet. Pcos changes the body's metabolism and so regular cardiovascular exercise is needed.

Taking metformin?: Pcos should not affect your bowels by itself. Are you taking metformin (glucophage) which cause diarrhea or nausea? If so, you may do better on a lower dose, and your dr can try extended-release metformin tablets which can cause less side effects. If you're not on metformin see your primary care doctor for help. Celiac disease may be more common in women with irregular cycles.

Losing weight: To lose weight, get ur resting metabolism rate done(weight loss centers do this). This determines the total number of calories you need to lose 1-2lbs/week. Decreasing 500cal/day will give you a 1lb wt loss in 1wk; drink water (1/2 your body weight), eat small meals about 150-200cal 2-4x/(depending on your metabolism rate) and 500cal/meal at night: lean protein/veggies; avoid carbs, .

Unclear: It is unclear exactly what is going on here in this question. My assumption is that you are taking Letrozole in order to assist with ovulation. I would clarify the plan with the prescribing physician who knows you best. If you did not ovulate then there is no “cycle” so Letrozole could be restarted.

PCOS treatment: The weight loss is hard. Lots we don't understand about how body expends energy in general. So 2 similar people with same diet and same exercise may weigh differently. Still boils down to burning off more than taking in to lose. Do you see an endocrinologist? On metformin? Have access to wellness center for weight management? Low glycemic index foods ( healthy plate meal plan) may help.
