Could be: Not taking a beta blocker will mean that you lose the decreasing heart rate effect of inderal (propranolol)

With your Docs help!: Ideally this should be done in conjunction with the prescribing physician. Stopping an antidepressant on your own is not a good idea.  About 1/5 individuals experience discontinuation symptoms when coming off a ssri. Paxil (paroxetine) has a relatively short 1/2 life meaning it clear from the system fairly quickly. Generally the dose would be decreased gradually to the lowest possible dose before stopping.

Talk to your doctor : If you experience withdrawal symptoms after abruptly stopping Paxil, (paroxetine) you should re-start it.  I recommend you talk to your doctor about your medication and any changes you wish to make.

Can be immediate: In particular after being on the Paxil for so long, the serotonin discontinuation can be immediate and very intense.  Even if another serotonin agent is substituted - like Prozac - it typically does not reduce symptoms.
It might be best to very gradually taper the Paxil even after instituting the Prozac.

Paxil (paroxetine) withdrawal: Paxil (paroxetine) withdrawal maybe difficult. You may want to take a longer time. I generally withdraw Paxil (paroxetine) 5 mg a month. Cross titrating slowly venlafaxine will help. If you have problems with side effects, then take more time. Serotonin syndrome is a dangerous adverse event, if you take two serotonin drugs. Talk with your doctor.

i have bad epigastric pain as heaviness, fullness gases, burbing,less appetite.took alot of antispasmodic, omperazole but no releif,im on paxil12.5 now.dr added zoloft 50 to help during withdrawing paxil.is the pain related to zoloft? can i stop it?

Epigastric pain: For immediate relief taking antacid orally can sometimes be the most effective thing to do.  Given the persistence and severity of your symptoms you should probably be seen.  This could be something more like gallbladder, ulcer or pancreatitis.
