Closed cervix: The cervix will have a different appearance depending on your age, where you are in the menstrual cycle and how many vaginal deliveries you have had. You will have to ask the doctor who did your exam if this is an issue. Usually it is not and a pap smear can be done just fine.

Pap Smears: The very reason one has pap smears is to watch the cervical cells to see if they have the potential to become cancer and if there is, indeed, any evidence of the cancer causing hpv present.  The scale goes from zero to five. Cin 2 is not even close to cancer but warrants the colposcopy and treatment. It sounds like your physician is doing everything right. You can be reassured.

Pap Smears: Don't be worried but follow through with the recommendations of your physician.  There are stages of changes in the cells from the cervix that can predict risk for getting cancer. They are going to just make sure there is nothing worse and to zap or treat anything that can be treated to prevent this from progressing. Also you need the hpv vaccine urgently if you have not already had this.

It depends.: If your smear is borderline, as in cis or cancer in situ, it means that it isn't invasive, but must be removed or it will ultimately invade your body, but then you would need colposcopy, and a cone biopsy.  More likely, this means borderline neoplasia/dysplasia, which is not quite normal, but not yet cancer.  This can also be called atypical.  See your doctor for more info. And get your yearly pap.
