It is uncommon: You may have bleeding after pap smear and then having sex but to have heavy bleeding , it is very uncommon . If it does not stop , i encourage you to see your physician.

: "ASCUS" means "abnormal squamous cells of uncertain significance", and signifies cellular changes , non-malignant, with said changes consistent with possible human papilloma virus or just chronic inflammation.  A repeat Pap smear is usually done in six months.

Not specifically: The pap is a simple test that  can detect changes triggered by HPV, one of the most common STI's but a blood test for antibodies is more specific. Some docs will test for sti's at the same time a pap is done, but may not have if s/he just did the pap.

: Bleeding is a sign of tissue injury. The vaginal wall of a post adolescent female is estrogenized/toughened enough to handle intercourse. If you are bleeding, there is some form of tissue tearing, so you should have an evaluation to see where the blood is coming from.

No to worry: This is not anything worth worrying about right now. You should follow your Gyn's instructions. Did he ask you for a 6 month or one year follow up exam. You could do either and be OK. It takes many years for anything serious to develop on your cervix.

: something is being injured during sex in the vaginal/cervical area. First check if it is fresh blood, with or without clots and amount. Try a different position during sex. Note any changes and have your Gyn re-evaluate after these observations. I hope the cause is found and treated

: You need to see your Gyn for proper assessment . yeast infection is not the usual cause of PID. Pap smear is for abnormal cells in the cervix.
