No,cover with PCP: A renal consult might be wise since the causes could range from nothing to worry about to something that needs to be looked into now.

Temporary, maybe: 24 hour urine tests for catecholamines are checking for epinephrine, norepinephrine, & other compounds that can be produced by catecholamine-secreting tumors called pheochromocytomas. Panic attacks alone might temporarily raise these levels, but not in sustained fashion like one of these tumors can. When present, pheochromocytomas can cause anxiety and panic attacks and raise urine catecholamines.

i've been taking 2mg of clonazepam a day for roughly 2 weeks for bad panic attacks. how long will it be detectable in my urine?

Up to one month: Clonazapam is long acting, so it may appear positive on a urine test for as long as about one month. By the way, i try and avoid medications in the family called benzodiazapibes due to the potential for dependency. I have been quite successful over the many years I have practiced, using the medication called nortriptyline for my patients with panic disorder.

Definitely possible: urine epinephrine is not that helpful when it comes to diagnosing adrenal gland disorders given the short half life of the hormone. Anxiety does lead to epinephrine production and false urine elevation. In a panic attack it could very well be elevated.

CBT: It sounds as though your physical health is being addressed. Have you considered cognitive behavioral therapy to deal with your anxiety/ panic ?  Take care.

Unfortunately : Unfortunately this an issue that you, your psychiatrist, and OB will have to discuss and weigh all your options. The medications that are typically used for the treatment of panic attacks are class c drugs, this means that these drugs have not been studied in humans, and have possibly shown some adverse effects in animal studies. A doctor or medical team may  decide that the benefits when given these drugs outweigh the potential risk to the fetus, then they are prescribed. 
Daily panic attacks seem like a justifiable reason to go ahead and begin medical treatment, however your medical team has more information about you and your history and can make a better decision regarding this.

can anxiety cause every muscle in your body to be tight constantly? never had this issue before anxiety. every muscle including face and fingers are tight. been to pcp and hospitals with panic attacks/symptoms. what can i do?

Possibly: Time to see a doctor. From what you say your lifestyle is being affected. See doctor and get help before it gets worse

POSSIBLY: I don't know about "normal" but panic and anxiety is very much experienced physically. I would try breathing exercises and meditation and reduce caffeine and have a health y lifestyle. If these basic behavioral approaches do not work then see a therapist or psychiatrist

Tell your doctor: Without knowing more, this is my first advice. There is a light at the end of the tunnel so to speak. The first step has been taken (you are on a medication). You might need a different dose, a different medication or a combination of interventions and therapies. The next step is to make sure the prescribing physician is aware that you are still in distress.
