Pancreatic duct dila: This can happen in chronic  panceatitis,  or if there is a pancreatic neoplasm ( tumor) . Sometimes there are benign tumors in the duct that can eventually become malignant so it is important to check them out.  Technically gallstones that are stuck at the spincter of Vater causing pancreatitis can result in pancreatic duct dilatation as can inflammation post ERCP.

Your question?: I appreciate your sharing this, but no one here will be able to make the call. Unless your HCG is extremely high, it means nothing. The other labs are not helpful. Your periampullary lesion has hopefully been biopsied, as will your liver lesions if the radiologist cannot certify them as benign. Hoping celiac sprue has been ruled in or out, along with whipple's and common lactose intolerance.

ercp done, post procedure was sod2p w/mild pancreatic duct dilatation. ? does sod2p mean? they did a stent also.

Probably : that abbreviation probably refers to sphincter of Oddi dysfunction, type 2, which is an abnormal squeezing of the sphincter at the end of the bile duct. It sounds like your endoscopist treated it with a stent. Hopefully that will help. Good luck.

Speak to your doctor: I’m sure your doctor will be best placed to explain this to you with the ultrasound picture to actually demonstrate these to you. But this usually happens when the common bile duct is obstructed either by a gallstone or a tumor

Re pancreas probably: Other issues at play here.  Gallbladder issues, bowel malabsorption issues, along with several other possible causes. MRI: This is a situation where your physician, who knows your symptoms, should go over the study with the radiologist who interpreted it. The findings appear benign, but the radiologist may suggest other studies or referral to a specialist if your physician is still concerned about your symptoms.

is a dilated pancreatic duct at 6mm a problem that needs to be treated? what can happened?

Depends on cause: It sounds like there may be background information that would help a physician provide more valuable advice.  The potential cause of the dilation is the important question.  If this is an isolated finding, it is entirely possible the duct is dilated after the passing of a gallstone (causing a downstream blockage with bile backing into pancreatic duct), which would not necessitate urgent treatment.
