Shoulder pain: Most of the time this is from a strain or an overuse injury to the muscles that control your shoulder. These muscles are known as the rotator cuff and with movement of your arm will be painful if they are strained. Ice to the area, range of motion exercises seem to help. If over a period of time it is not improved you should see your physician for further evaluation and treatment.

Physical exam: Does your pain worsen when you twist your back?  If so, it could be from facet joints.  You would need to see your doctor for an evaluation because a number of things could do this including kidney stones or even aortic dissection (unlikely, but it wold be  an emergency if you had this)... It's most likely something not so serious, though.  I hope you feel better.

i have a pain in my right hand when i close my hand. new job with a finger scanner on my hand. could it be getting used to it? using new muscles?

Hand pain: Anyone that does repetitive motions with their hands can develop pain from things such as carpal tunnel, tendonitis, arthritis.  When you get home try to rest your hands and soak them in warm water with Epson salt. You can also use paraffin to help and relieve fatigue. Try alternating hands throughout the day. It is normal: Many women have a noticeable difference in the size of their breasts.  It has nothing to do with handedness.  The only way I know of making them even is surgical reduction or enhancement.  Many women though use inserts in their bras to even them out  and make clothes fit right

: Did you injure your hand/finger? You should see a doctor for exam and treatment. In order to treat you, the physician will need to examine you to find out why you have pain/swelling. You can try icing it for 20 minutes at a time to see if this helps while waiting for your doctor’s appointment.
