Go see your doctor: I'm not here to judge but regardless of age, i don't recommend unprotected sex unless you're trying to get pregnant. Even if it was only for 2 minutes & he didn't "finish", you can still get pregnant. Or perhaps catch a sexually transmitted disease/infection (which can cause pain). So go see your family doc (or planned parenthood or county health/std clinic) for evaluation & treatment plus bcpills.

why do i get occasional sharp pains on both sides of my rib area when i breathe?

Occasional?: If it's just an occasional pain, it's likely just a "muscle stitch" (spasm). It's nothing to be worried about. If it's more than occasional, you should be evaluated - see your family doctor for testing.

i have pains on my right side , upper rib cage area and upper right arm, also back when i sit. any idea what can be the issue been over a week?

Get a medical check: If your pains do not settle down soon, you should get a physical exam by your doctor. Most minor aches and pains are related to muscles and often settle down in  week to 10 days.If the pain is related to exertion or is getting worse, then you should go see your doctor soon(early next week) and get a check up done.

Please see doc: Sometimes rib/back muscle strains can cause pain like you describe, but... The nausea and the feeling of swallowing your tongue is concerning - that usually doesn't happen with simple muscle strains.  Could this be referred pain from an ulcer, from the diaphragm, from the heart?  Your symptoms are concerning enough that you deserve a thorough medical workup.  Time to go to an urgent care or ed.

Very hard to say: Lilly T, you are young and from a Caribbean country.  If you have been injured, it probably is bruised ribs and they take a long time to heal.  They may get worse if you lie on them while they are not healed.  If you have not had ANY injury, or if you are having any fever, it could be something in your  heart or lungs so you should be checked.  good luck to you.

Although they could : Be from anxiety, you need to check it out with your doctor to rule out physical issues before just assuming it's from anxiety. Once you have ruled out physical causes, talk to a psychologist about ways to reduce stress and anxiety.

Pain: of unknown reason, especially around the chest, needs to be diagnosed by your doctor.  If anxiety, a clinical psychologist can help w/anxiety management.  Peace and good health.

It : It sounds like you are dealing with cramps. Cramps can be a result of dehydration, vitamin deficiency, electrolyte disturbance (low calcium, potassium, or magnesium), and/or Lactic Acid build up after an intense work out etc. 
Make sure you are well hydrated, eat a balanced diet, and take a daily multi-vitamin. If the severe side pains persist then you should see your doctor right away.

Few possibilities.: Don't know whether workouts in  gym, athletic acts caused  musculskeletal strain , common in  ur age gp. Weak bones -ribs also can cause the pain from vitamin c& d deficiency, but not particularly one side of chest wall. Pain in rt upper abdomen is common for gallbladder prob., unusual for ur age . Anemias cause bone pain the ribs. Pleurisy from infn, inflamm. Can cause it.Finally lung prob.See yr doc.
