See a doctor: This is most likely an enlarged lymph node if it is not tender. If it were tender, it could also be an ingrown hair or furuncle. Probably best to have it looked it.

Watchful waiting: Most likely it is an enlarged  and benign lymph node. Wait and it might decrease in size and disappear. If it will still be present in a month or will become painful and red please, see your physician.

Probable lymph node: The area you are describing seems to be your groin. The hard structure you feel is likely a lymph node. If you get an allergic reaction or infection in and around your rectum, vagina and or in your legs these nodes get bigger causing them to get painful. When the cause for them to increase resolves, they shrink and are no longer painful. Lymph nodes prevent infection spread. If concerned, see MD

Possible abscess: If the bump was an infected abscess you popped, the nearby lymph glands in the inguinal fold can temporarily swell up, and be tender to touch. If you have a fever over 101 and feel sick, the germs may have spread to the blood, and you would need antibiotics to clear the infection. A physician can test for this, and treat the problem.

Painful lump: By your description, and assuming that you have used a razor to shave along the bikini line, the "lump" is probably a hair follicle which is infected.  this happens when shaving will open the skin and bacteria enter the hair follicle.  The "lump" may also represent a sebaceous cyst, which may need to be opened. See your healthcare provider for an exam.

Folliculitis: Inflamed or infected hair follicles can look like this. Pants could be too tight, too much sweating or pore are infected. Laser hair removal is excellent choice, use witch hazel pads during day to clean and wear loose pants. Use a topical ointment like neosporin while its inflamed.

Yes: By definition  any lump in the skin is a skin tumor.  Most of these skin lesions are benign however.  A purple lump in the bikini line is most likely a hemangioma.  If that was the dx on the initial lesion that had been removed then you are forming addition skin hemangiomas
