26 yo male. i bent down and stretched and when i stood back up i had a pretty large lump in the middle of my chest that was visible. it went away after a minute but was painful while it was there. now the area is just sore. not sure what happened?

Yes: Men can get breast cancer just as women do, however it is much more rare.  He should seek out his physician to have this examined and probably have a mammogram.

39 male. last week left nipple was a little painful. there's a lump.. now it itches sometimes & minor pain. any ideas what it could be?

Infect hair follicle: You notice pain and now swelling in the nipple area.  You could have an infected hair follicle from your shirt rubbing.  Keep the area clean.  Use a topical ointment for 2 weeks.  If it is not better see your doctor.

Rib pain: The location and symptoms suggests a musculoskeletal problem. It could be due to several things including stress or overt fracture or costochondritis or bony/soft tissue lesion. You my need other investigations to further pin point the diagnosis.

im in my early 20's, male, have patchy hair loss and a painful lump that has formed in my left breast. what could this be?

Several things: Hair looks like alopecia areata which is an autoimmune condition. It is important to get blood work done to rule out thyroid, anemia problems. See a dermatologist for treatment which could be topical steroid as well as injection steroid. 
Breast needs to be seen by pcp asap.

Exam needed: A physician would have to inspect this lump in order to make a diagnosis. It could be a wen but if it's at the lower border of the sternum(breastbone,), it may simply be the xiphoid process which is cartilage and is a normal part of the sternum and it is quite firm.

Get it seen: Any mass that sticks around for two weeks or more calls for a physician's office visit. It'd be a shame to miss a low-grade liposarcoma or other soft tissue cancer while it's still easy to cure. Man up and call your doctor.

Breast lump: need to see a Doctor for further evaluation. Painless lumps in breast need to be viewed with suspicion.
