She may have the flu: Achy, high fever, and fatigue are this year's flu.  She might just have a viral illness as well.  Look for diarrhea.  Keep her well hydrated.  Go see your peds doc and she will better assess her, as she can't go to school in that state.

See doctor : Depending on exactly where it's located, will determine what the exact diagnosis is. It's best to contact your doctor, so that you can have a physical exam that includes an abdominal exam. So, share with your doctor when it occurs most frequently, what makes it better or worse, eating or not eating? These will be clues that will help your doctor determine what it is, and what's best for you to do to relieve it.

when eating a  long wide carrot shaving got stuck on route. i can breathe ok. now chest pain when swallowing water on right side. should i just wait?

Caution advised: Hopefully, it's a simple mild scrape of the esophagus.  However, one should not take the risk of waiting.  It would be advisable to see a gastroenterologist or an otolaryngologist who could visualize the area with an endoscope.

i was eating the other day & i suddenly felt pain when swallowing. it was as if the food was catching on something in my throat, causing pain. it only lasted for a few seconds and i never felt it since. what are the chances of throat cancer?

: The chances are very very close to zero.  You probably had a muscle spasm while swallowing, which occasionally happens. If it happens repeatedly, then go see your doctor for an evaluation.

Wait for healing or.: Take pain meds and if it does not improve within a week go back to the dentist who removed the wisdom teeth.

Post procedure : Yes, it would be relatively normal to have a sore throat with swallowing after an endoscopy. This should resolve in 2-3 days. If it persists or worsens beyond 7 to 10 days, then you should contact the Doctor who did the procedure for his or her opinion.

GERD : Most likely acid reflux, but other things needs to be ruled out. See gastroenterologist or pcp.

Possibilities.....: If there is no fever, it is likely a viral syndrome which will resolve on its own. Treatment would involve symptom control like plenty of fluids, throat lozenges, etc. If your symptoms persist beyond 7 days or if a fever occurs, see your doctor to r/o a bacterial infection which would require antibiotics.

Swallow difficulty: May be GERD w/ or without h pylori, , or infeciton in esophagus like candida or stricture can be evaluated with EGD where they look down esophagus w/  scope. May also be achalasia  -spasm/ irregular perastalsis ( the movement that pushes food along)  rarely  stroke, mass lesion. Get CT chest, thyroid ultrasound  F/u/ w/ doc and gastroenterologist

T ; A Discomfort: If you have swollen tonsils and/or adenoids, your physician is most able to diagnose you and render the necessary treatment.  Often, inflamed t;a's accompany an infection that should be treated, sometimes with antibiotics if it is of bacterial origin. Today, avoid acidic food and drinks, and stick to water and painkillers (aspirin if you can take it) and a bland diet.
